Scope of Support
Mommy Focus provides lactation education, encouragement, and resource connections. Mommy Focus team members are not licensed or certified lactation professionals unless the appropriate credential has been obtained. When your needs fall outside our scope, we will connect you with a qualified lactation consultant or your healthcare provider.
However you feed your baby, you deserve support.
There is no shame in needing help, and no single right way to feed a baby. We'll meet you where you are and walk with you from there.

Mommy Focus provides non-medical support, education, advocacy, navigation, community resources, and family support within the scope of each service.
Mommy Focus services are not a replacement for medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, mental health treatment, or services that require a licensed healthcare professional.
When a mother's needs fall outside the scope of Mommy Focus, she will be connected or referred to the appropriate licensed healthcare provider, mental health professional, lactation professional, emergency service, or community organization.
